Herb Focus: Echinacea

Echinacea is also known as the purple coneflower. It is a beautiful plant and has been used for centuries as a natural herbal remedy for everything from colds to cancer. Many people use this herb to help with infections as well. Echinacea can help boost the immune system by supporting white blood cells.
Usually, you will see Echinacea in tablet form or as a tea or extract. ECO is offering Echinacea tincture grown and made by one of our local partners. It is worth noting that you should be cautious of using echinacea if you have any allergies to anything in the aster family such as ragweed. Please talk to your personal health care provider before trying any new herbal supplement or remedy.
